The following is the remarkable news most on May 12 as follows:
1. US News:
More than 80,000 people have died in the US from coronavirus. The federal government is allocating $11 billion to states for "the sole support of testing."
A top model now forecasts that 137,000 Americans will die by August, as governors continue lifting measures toward a reopening.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, a key member of the White House coronavirus task force, is about to testify before a Senate committee today. He intends to tell lawmakers that the country is at risk of unnecessary suffering and death if the states open too quickly, he told the New York Times on Monday night.
The Supreme Court  working remotely because of coronavirus will hear cases this morning about President Trump's bid to shield his financial records.
House Democrats are working with the fourth coronavirus stimulus package despite protests from the Trump administration and Republican leaders.
The White House staffing office says its employees must cover their faces at all times unless they are seated at their desks and away from colleagues.
The directive was issued after an assistant to Vice President Mike Pence and an employee of President Trump were infected.
Mr. Trump said he himself asked to implement this policy.
Mr. Trump said there would be more budget to increase testing in the states. The government will grant $ 11 billion to states to meet testing targets this month. The states were asked how many tests they expected to conduct in May and would be provided with supplies to meet those goals.

3. Russia News:
The development comes after Russia passed Spain as the country with the second-most confirmed coronavirus cases in the world.
Three Russian ministers have previously tested positive for coronavirus, including Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who is still in hospital, as well as Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova and Minister of Housing Vladimir Yakushev.
4. South Korea news:
The mayor of Seoul said over 100 cases of coronavirus have been linked to a nightclub cluster in South Korea. The cluster emerged in the capital's Itaewon entertainment district over the past few days, raising fears of a second wave of infections.
The new Korean outbreak involves five bars and clubs in Itaewon, a district specializing in nightlife in Seoul, according to Reuters. The number of new cases of coronary virus infection associated with the outbreak increased to 94 in the evening of May 11, including eight military personnel, four foreigners, a nurse and an 84-year-old lady, bringing the total number of Covid cases. 19 of South Korea exceeded 10,900 cases and 256 deaths

Hundreds of factory workers at a fish processing plant in Ghana have tested positive for the coronavirus.

10. China News:
Wuhan testing scramble: Officials in the Chinese city at ground zero for the coronavirus said they will test all 11 million residents in the next 10 days to prevent a second wave of infections.
Meanwhile, China's Wuhan city over the weekend witnessed a new outbreak with five cases on May 11, marking the highest number of cases on March 11 in the city. Wuhan, being blocked for 76 days straight, only lifted the blockade for 1 month.
Another Chinese outbreak has also been reported in the city of Shulan near the border with North Korea with 17 cases within a day, according to Bloomberg.
