The following is the remarkable news most on April 2 as follows:

1. 6.6 million Americans filed for unemployment benefits last week, a record high level is considered to be caused by the coronavirus disease.

This has to do with businesses being closed or businesses continue to lay off and furlough workers amid the coronavirus outbreak.

2. Tracking Covid-19 cases in the US. Last updated: April 2, 2020 at 6:50 a.m. ET.

Number of infected people: 216,722. Number of deaths: 5,137.

In which :

New York has infected people: 84,046. Number of deaths: 2,220.             

California has infected people: 9,907. Number of deaths: 216.   

Michigan has infected people: 9,315. Number of deaths: 335.

Florida has infected people: 7,773. Number of deaths: 101.          .              

Massachusetts has infected people: 7,738. Number of deaths: 122.                        

Illinois have infected people: 6,980. Number of deaths: 146.

New York has become the epicenter of the country’s outbreak with 84,046 confirmed cases and 2,220 deaths so far. When adjusted for population, that translates to roughly 432 known cases for every 100,000 residents.

3. Henan Province, China recently ordered the blockade of Jia County, Binh Dinh Son City, to prevent a second wave of Covid-19 infection in this area. About 600,000 people in Jia County were ordered to stay in their homes.

4. Hanoi City People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung informed that in France there are 85 million people with 17,000 ventilators, an average of 5 million people with 1,000 ventilators; in Germany 1.7 million people have 1,000 ventilators; but in Hanoi 8 million people have only 300 ventilators, if the outbreak will be a catastrophe.

Các quan chức y tế cấp cao Italy ngày 31 tháng 3 tuyên bố dịch Covid-19 tại nước này đã đạt đỉnh sau khi có thêm 837 nạn nhân thiệt mạng vì dịch.
