4. The good news is that Fujifilm's Avigan flu medicine in Japan has the active ingredient favipiravir, which helps Covid-19 patients recover without side effects.

According to many experts, in the context of the sprint race to produce the Covid-19 vaccine, Attention should be paid to the evaluation of the effectiveness of vaccines against various viruses and to testing on many animals before human trials can be conducted. Cuộc đua chế tạo vắc xin Covid-19 vô cùng khuẩn cấp.

Gấp rút điều chế vắc xin ngừa SAR-CoV-2 đang thu hút nhiều nước trên thế giới tham gia vào cuộc đua  với thời gian này khi mà Đại dịch Covid-19 hiện đã lan tới hơn 150 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ trên thế giới , với hơn 230.000 người nhiễm và hơn 9.300 ca tử vong.

Người ta dự đoán có khoảng 35 công ty và viện nghiên cứu trên thế giới đang tham gia cuộc đua bào chế vắc xin này.

1. Tại nước Đức, Hãng công nghệ sinh học CureVac đang hợp tác với Viện Paul Ehrlich thuộc Bộ Y tế Đức để điều chế vắc xin, với một số loại có triển vọng để thử nghiệm vào tháng 6 tháng 7 tới.

2. Trong khi đó, tại Trung Quốc hiện có khoảng 1000 nhà khoa học đang tham gia nghiên cứu và phát triển vắc xin Covid-19. Ngoài ra giới lãnh đạo Trung Quốc đang chỉ đạo quân đội gấp rút bào chế vắc xin ngừa SAR-CoV-2 đầu tiên trên thế giới.

3. Hãng Moderna Therapeutics (Mỹ) hôm 16 tháng 3 bắt đầu thử nghiệm lâm sàng trên 45 tình nguyện viên từ 18 - 55 tuổi. Các nhà nghiên cứu Mỹ dùng công nghệ ARN thông tin để chép mã di truyền của vi rút thay vì dùng chính vi rút.

4. Một tin đáng vui mừng là thuốc chữa cúm Avigan của Tập đoàn Fujifilm tại Nhật Bản có hoạt chất favipiravir giúp bệnh nhân Covid-19 hồi phục mà không có tác dụng phụ.

Theo nhiều chuyên gia nhận định trong bối cảnh diễn ra cuộc đua nước rút để chế tạo vắc xin Covid-19, cần lưu ý việc đánh giá hiệu quả của vắc xin đối với nhiều vi rút khác nhau và thử nghiệm trên nhiều động vật trước khi thử nghiệm trên người. Điều quan trọng nhất là không được đốt cháy giai đoạn.

Câu hỏi lớn mà mọi người quan tâm là khi nào vắc-xin coronavirus sẽ sẵn sàng?

Không ít người cho rằng thử nghiệm trên người đã bắt đầu  nhưng ngay cả khi chúng diễn ra tốt đẹp, vẫn có nhiều rào cản trước khi tiêm chủng toàn cầu là khả thi.
