The following is the remarkable news most on April 16 as follows:

1. America News:

On April 15, the United States recorded a record number of deaths from Covid 19 within 24 hours with nearly 2,600 cases. According to Johns Hopkins University, this is also the record for the death within 24 hours higher than any other country.

Up to now, the total number of deaths in the US has increased to 28,502, and the total number of cases has reached 643,296, according to the update by worldometer.

Although the number of deaths has increased, US President Donald Trump said the number of new cases in many parts of the country has been lower and the data shows that the US has passed the peak in terms of new cases.

The US state of New York on April 15 recorded an additional 752 deaths due to Covid 19, a little lower than the 778 figure of April 14, showing that the daily number of deaths in this state appears to be under the "flat" momentum, did not increase as suddenly as the previous days. The total number of deaths due to Covid 19 in the state has reached 11,586.

2. Korean news:

South Korea's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC)  on Thursday said more than 140 seemingly recovered patients have retested positive for Covid-19

Kwon Joon-wook is KCDC deputy director said that the agency did not know what caused the people to retest positive and was investigating.

By the end of April 15, Korea had 22 more new cases, down 5 from the previous 27 days. According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), the total number of Covid 19 patients in the country was 10,613 cases.

3. News of France:

France on April 15 said the number of deaths due to Covid 19 in France increased by 1,438, to a total of 17,167. This is the highest increase in deaths per day in France. This is because French nursing homes accrue to unreported deaths during Easter on a three-day weekend.

In particular, the number of deaths in hospitals increased by 514 but the number of deaths inside nursing homes has increased to 924.

The Director of the General Department of Health of France, Jérôme Salomon, said that the Covid 19 pandemic was still very active and urged the French people to strictly abide by the anti-epidemic measures.

4. Germany News:

On April 15, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the heads of state in Germany met online and agreed to continue to maintain social separation measures until May 3.

However, some stores will be allowed to reopen from next week. And schools in Germany will reopen on May 4. Prime Minister Merkel also advises people to wear masks when appearing in public places and in shops.

The number of new cases of Covid 19 in Germany has increased slowly in recent weeks, but Chancellor Merkel warned that the country had only achieved initial success to prevent the disease.

5. Japanese news:

On April 16, a Japanese Government official said that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe had decided to declare a nationwide emergency.

6. Canada will extend the blockade for many more weeks.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau once again warned on April 15 that the nationwide blockade order would continue for several more weeks even as the country passed the worst stage of the Covid 19 epidemic.

"If we reopen the door too soon, everything we are doing now may become meaningless," Trudeau told a daily news conference in Ottawa.

7. Thailand News:

Thailand added 29 new cases, 3 died.

According to the Bangkok Post, on April 16, the Thai government announced that it had recorded 29 new cases of Covid 19, bringing the total number of patients to 2,672 cases. There have also been 3 more deaths, bringing the total number of deaths due to Covid 19 of Thailand to 46 now.

The number of recovered cases was 1,593, an increase of 96 people, also the number of significant recovering cases on April 15

8. New Zealand News:

The AFP, New Zealand, a country with 5 million people, has been quite successful in controlling the disease, so far only more than 1,000 confirmed corona virus-positive cases and 9 have died.

New Zealand will begin to relax the national blockade order next week but Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on April 16 warned that things are far from normal.

On April 16, New Zealand added 5 new infections. The New Zealand Government has applied the number 4, the highest level of national blockade in the past 3 weeks.

9. Indonesia News:

On April 16, Indonesia confirmed an additional 380 new corona virus infections and 27 new deaths from the Covid 19 disease.

The total number of Indonesian virus infections is now 5,516 cases, with a total of 496 deaths. In particular, 548 people have recovered. Indonesia has conducted about 40,000 tests, the number of suspected people of this country is more than 11,800 people.

10. Vietnam News:

On April 16, Vietnam did not register new cases of Covid 19, while the number of people discharged during the day was 5, bringing the total number of cases discharged from the country to 176 cases. The Vietnamese Prime Minister requested not to relax the policy of restricting entry to April 30.

Information from the Ha Giang Department of Health of Vietnam said that after recording Covid 19, number 268 was a 16-year-old female patient of Mong ethnicity, residing in Sin Tung hamlet, Pho La commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang. Recently, the patient came into contact with family members working in China and became infected. Therefore, there was a regional general clinic with nearly 20 medical staff, where the initial examination for patients was temporarily isolated.

11. Singapore News:

By the end of April 15, Singapore had 447 new positive cases with the newly confirmed corona virus. A new record for cases positive for this virus in a day. 68% of new infections relate to crowded dormitories of foreign workers. Singapore currently has a total of 3,699 positive cases and 10 deaths.

12. Indian News:

India has more than 12,000 cases of COVID-19.

According to CNN, India had a total of 12,380 cases of Covid 19 as of the morning of April 16, of which 414 died and 1,489 were discharged.

In the past 24 hours, India recorded an additional 941 cases and 37 deaths.

Ngày 15 tháng 4 nước Mỹ đã ghi nhận số người chết vì Covid 19 kỷ lục trong vòng 24 giờ với gần 2.600 ca. Theo ĐH Johns Hopkins, đây cũng là kỷ lục người chết trong vòng 24 giờ cao hơn bất cứ quốc gia nào khác.

Đến nay tổng số người chết ở Mỹ lên 28.502 người, tổng số ca nhiễm lên 643.296 người, theo cập nhật của trang worldometer.

Dù số ca tử vong tăng nhưng Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump cho biết số ca nhiễm mới tại nhiều nơi trên khắp nước Mỹ đã thấp đi và dữ liệu cho thấy Mỹ đã qua đỉnh dịch xét về số ca nhiễm mới.

Bang New York của Mỹ ngày 15 tháng 4 đã ghi nhận thêm 752 ca tử vong do Covid 19, thấp hơn một chút so với con số 778 của ngày 14 tháng 4, cho thấy số ca tử vong mỗi ngày ở bang này dường như đang theo đà "phẳng", không tăng đột ngột như những ngày trước. Tổng số ca tử vong do Covid 19 ở bang này đã lên tới 11.586.

2. Tin Hàn Quốc:

Trung tâm kiểm soát và phòng ngừa dịch bệnh (KCDC) của Hàn Quốc hôm thứ Năm cho biết hơn 140 bệnh nhân dường như đã hồi phục đã kiểm tra lại dương tính với Covid-19

Kwon Joon-wook là phó giám đốc KCDC nói rằng cơ quan này không biết điều gì khiến người dân dương trính trở lại và sự việc đang được điều tra.

Hết ngày 15 tháng 4, Hàn Quốc có thêm 22 ca bệnh mới, giảm 5 ca so với 27 người của ngày trước đó. Theo Trung tâm Phòng chống và Kiểm soát bệnh tật Hàn Quốc (KCDC), tổng số người bệnh Covid 19 của nước này là 10.613 ca.

3. Tin nước Pháp:

Pháp ngày 15 tháng 4 cho biết số ca tử vong do Covid 19 ở Pháp đã tăng thêm 1.438 ca, lên tổng cộng 17.167 ca. Đây là mức tăng ca tử vong nhiều nhất trong một ngày ở Pháp. Nguyên nhân là vì các viện dưỡng lão của Pháp cộng dồn số ca tử vong không được báo cáo trong lễ Phục sinh vào cuối tuần kéo dài 3 ngày.

Trong đó, số ca tử vong trong bệnh viện tăng thêm 514  nhưng số ca tử vong bên trong các viện dưỡng lão đã tăng thêm tới 924 .

Tổng cục trưởng Tổng cục y tế Pháp Jérôme Salomon nói rằng đại dịch Covid 19 vẫn còn hoạt động mạnh và kêu gọi người dân Pháp tuân thủ nghiêm túc các biện pháp chống dịch.

4. Tin nước Đức:

Ngày 15 tháng 4, Thủ tướng Đức Angela Merkel và thủ hiến các bang ở Đức đã họp trực tuyến và nhất trí tiếp tục duy trì các biện pháp giãn cách xã hội đến ngày 3 tháng 5.

Tuy nhiên, một số cửa hàng sẽ được phép mở lại từ tuần tới. Còn các trường học ở Đức sẽ mở lại từ ngày 4 tháng 5. Thủ tướng Merkel cũng khuyên người dân đeo khẩu trang khi xuất hiện ở nơi công cộng và ở các cửa hàng.

Số ca nhiễm mới dịch Covid 19 ở Đức tăng chậm lại trong những tuần gần đây, nhưng Thủ tướng Merkel cảnh báo rằng nước này mới chỉ đạt được những thành công bước đầu nhằm ngăn chặn dịch bệnh.

5. Tin Nhật Bản:

Ngày 16 tháng 4, một quan chức Chính phủ Nhật Bản cho biết Thủ tướng nước này Shinzo Abe đã quyết định ban bố tình trạng khẩn cấp trên toàn quốc.

Theo đó, chính quyền các tỉnh, thành sẽ có quyền yêu cầu các trường học và nhiều doanh nghiệp đóng cửa cho đến hết kỳ nghỉ Tuần lễ vàng, tức là ngày 6 tháng 5 tới.

6. Canada sẽ kéo dài phong tỏa thêm nhiều tuần.

Thủ tướng Canada, ông Justin Trudeau, ngày 15 tháng 4 một lần nữa cảnh báo lệnh phong tỏa toàn quốc sẽ tiếp tục trong nhiều tuần nữa ngay cả khi quốc gia này đã vượt qua giai đoạn tồi tệ nhất của dịch bệnh Covid 19.

"Nếu chúng ta mở cửa lại quá sớm, mọi thứ chúng ta đang làm bây giờ có thể sẽ thành vô nghĩa", ông Trudeau phát biểu trong cuộc họp báo hàng ngày tại Ottawa.

Đến ngày 15 tháng 4 Canada ghi nhận tổng cộng 28.205 ca bệnh Covid 19, trong đó có 1.008 người chết. Gần một nửa trong số những người chết có liên quan tới ổ dịch tại các cơ sở chăm sóc dài hạn.

7. Tin Thái Lan:

Thái Lan thêm 29 ca bệnh mới, 3 người chết.

Theo báo Bangkok Post, hôm nay 16 tháng 4 chính phủ Thái Lan thông báo nước này đã ghi nhận thêm 29 ca bệnh Covid 19 mới, nâng tổng số người bệnh lên 2.672 ca. Cũng đã có thêm 3 người chết, đưa tổng số người chết vì Covid 19 của Thái Lan tới nay là 46 người.

Số ca bệnh đã khỏi là 1.593, tăng thêm 96 người, cũng là số ca bệnh hồi phục đáng kể trong ngày 15 tháng 4.

8. Tin New Zealand:

The AFP, New Zealand, đất nước có 5 triệu dân khá thành công trong việc kiểm soát dịch bệnh, cho tới nay chỉ có hơn 1.000 ca dương tính với virus corona được xác nhận và 9 ca tử vong.

New Zealand sẽ bắt đầu nới lỏng lệnh phong toả toàn quốc vào tuần tới tuy nhiên Thủ tướng Jacinda Ardern ngày 16 tháng 4 cảnh báo rằng mọi thứ còn lâu mới trở lại bình thường.

Trong ngày 16 tháng 4, New Zealand có thêm 5 ca nhiễm mới. Chính phủ New Zealand đã áp dụng mức số 4, mức cao nhất về phong toả toàn quốc trong 3 tuần qua.

9.  Tin Indonesia:

Ngày 16 tháng 4, Indonesia xác nhận thêm 380 ca nhiễm virus corona mới và 27 ca tử vong mới do dịch bệnh Covid 19.

Tổng số ca nhiễm virus của Indonesia hiện nay là 5.516 ca bệnh, với tổng cộng 496 ca tử vong. Trong đó, đã có 548 người hồi phục. Indonesia đã thực hiện khoảng 40.000 xét nghiệm, số người nghi nhiễm của nước này là hơn 11.800 người.

10. Tin Viet Nam:

Ngày 16 tháng 4, Việt Nam không ghi nhận ca bệnh Covid 19 mới, trong khi số người ra viện trong ngày là 5 ca, đưa tổng số ca được ra viện cả nước lên 176 ca. Thủ tướng Viet Nam yêu cầu không nới lỏng chính sách hạn chế nhập cảnh đến ngày 30 tháng 4.

Thông tin từ Sở Y tế Hà Giang Viet Nam cho hay sau khi ghi nhận bệnh nhân Covid 19 số 268 là bệnh nhân nữ 16 tuổi, dân tộc Mông, trú tại thôn Pín Tủng, xã Phố Là, huyện Đồng Văn, Hà Giang, thời gian qua bệnh nhân đã tiếp xúc với người nhà đi làm thuê tại Trung Quốc về và nhiễm bệnh. Vì thế đã có một phòng khám đa khoa khu vực với gần 20 nhân viên y tế, nơi tiếp nhận khám ban đầu cho bệnh nhân được tạm cách ly.

11. Tin Singapore:

Tính đến cuối ngày 15 tháng 4, Singapore có thêm 447 ca dương tính mới với virus corona chủng mới được xác nhận. Lại là một kỷ lục mới về số ca dương tính với virus này trong một ngày. 68% các trường hợp nhiễm mới liên quan đến những khu ký túc xá đông đúc của lao động nước ngoài. Singapore hiện có tổng cộng 3.699 ca dương tính và 10 trường hợp tử vong.

12. Tin Ấn Độ:

Ấn Độ đã có hơn 12.000 ca bệnh COVID-19.

Theo đài CNN, tính tới sáng nay 16 tháng 4 Ấn Độ đã có tổng cộng 12.380 ca bệnh Covid 19, trong đó có 414 người chết và cũng đã có 1.489 người được ra viện.

Trong vòng 24 giờ qua, Ấn Độ ghi nhận thêm 941 ca bệnh và 37 người chết.
